You can remind employees about managed app installs or updates. Employees will only see these reminders if they currently have the app open (because apps needs to be closed to get updated), or if it requires a full computer restart.
- Go to the Apps & Settings page
- Click on an app
- Click 'Configure' next to the appropriate profile
- Ensure that Notify users… is checked
- Optionally select the interval and local device time for notifications
